It's not an easy task, that's for sure....many, many man hours.....

Layout:

Then my son helped me put it in.....wow, I really needed his help, it was awesome!

Once it was installed, waited two days and then taped off the white and using green grout, grouted the border....

Then once that was dry, polished, etc.....the next day I taped off the green and used white grout on the rest....

Went through all the steps to clean it....and then removed the tape and worked on it some more....there are 31 little squares to 12".....each 12" x 12" tile has 961 piece in it....

Even using a board to try things out, see how sealer will work, etc.....
