New Audi Owner

After a few weeks of research, reading this forum, and drooling over the prospect of owning the A4, I went to a dealer today and took the plunge. I got a 99.5 2.8 QMS w/ Bose, Santorin Blue, w/ Ecru leather. They were quite ready to deal on the 99s, and there was very little haggling ($750 over invoice). I can't stop driving it, and have already logged 80+ miles just today. This car is just a superb driver's car. I took it onto some twisties (those of you in SoCal, Beverly Glen-to Mulholland-thru Benedict Canyon), and it handled very nicely. I'm very happy! Woo-hoo!!!

have fun with it, though it can be addictive-hey how about a slow cruise around Crenshaw or Slawson?
Although, I am planning on taking a road trip somewhere, perhaps down PCH to San Diego or the other way up the coast. Probably one of many road trips. :)
About the Bose system: Not being an audiophile in particular, I think the Bose sounds good. Blasting hip-hop on it, I find no problems with it....
Also a question: Am I correct in thinking that after a new car purchase, you're "liability-insured" for a week from date of purchase? I am going to get the insurance taken care of this week. I just didn't expect to actually buy the darn thing this weekend so insurance wasn't done yet.
Thanks!
Carl

If you have full coverage on another vehicle at the time of purchase, your new vehicle has the same coverage for 30 days (this is true with most insurers-but do check). There is no coverage from the Dealer, Audi, or the lender. Enjoy the car.
Can somebody give me a scenic route to go cruising in the NY metro area. Thanks
