The new posts will be bold and italicized. When you click on it to read it, it will mark the thread as "read".

Whenever a new post is made, it will mark the thread as "unread" for you. The next time you view the forum, the threads with new messages ("unread" messages) it will have a different color background, with all of the "unread" messages being bold and italicized.

I don't really understand what you are telling me. I've seen the color changes. But no italicized or bold posts. Don't we have color changes now on the forums? I'll play with it some more.
