Sometimes other people use my machine and I don't want them doing things from my IP address. Instead, I'd like to have a required login. Is this possible?

View Full Version : Can we have the option of not storing a password in a local cookie? DD 02-21-2000, 05:35 PM Sometimes other people use my machine and I don't want them doing things from my IP address. Instead, I'd like to have a required login. Is this possible? Johannes Erdfelt 02-21-2000, 06:04 PM It's really a cookie, not a password. It's a unique id. If you're particularly worried about it, you can logoff when you're done. Or did you have something else in mind? DD 02-21-2000, 11:01 PM If so, that's great. As long as I have the option of it not being automatically stored someplace, like on many sites.
