View Full Version : Catalog order does not activate the padlock

When using the Product Catalog, and entering secure ordering, the padlock does not turn on in the corner in Internet Explorer 4.0. I guess that is probably because the frameset is from one domain, and the frame is in another (the order processing site).

SSL does appear to be working, as the page indicates that a certificate was presented. So there's no real "problem", it just may be confusing to people who look for the padlock.

someone else pointed this out a little while ago so I tested it out. If you open the catalog frame in a new window you will get the padlock, but if it's still in the frame set, you do not. Nothing to worry about but I agree that it could be confusing, maybe we'll put some sort of note on the page to warn people.
