I seriously think A4.org should implement an actual account system. -- Actually, if it could be derived from the registry database, that'd be great. I think this would severely reduce the signal-to-noise ratio in, for example, the S4 forum. At the least it'd stop the bozos that keep posting under different names.

It's seriously getting to look like some other german car forum. Too many posts don't contribute to why this forum exists. I do believe reading somewhere Steve S. said the changes are in the works. Can't wait.

We have a couple of things coming out soon. Some minor changes sooner than others.

Registration is going to be one of those things that we will be adding.

We went to UBBS, and board members were getting irate about having to register, and that it was using cookies. Well, I can't say that I really care about cookies too much, and they certainly make life easier. Throw'em in the bit bucket if you like. And if registration means upping the signal to noise ratio, then by all means, I agree.

I can't wait.
