Does anyone know where the oil temperature sensor is located on a '99.5 A4 2.8L 30V? My oil temperature runs 220 to 230 F regardless of outside temperature. The lower number is with AC (and electric fan) on. The higher at a steady 75 MPH. I would like to know if the reading is sump temperature or the returning oil temperature from the engine. Thanks.
