We could all submit events which would be listed in that forum - not in a thread format, but more like a classified ad- with the name,date, place of the event, and the contact person's name, email, whatever....
and have a "delete on" date for the post to expire.

Would make it easier for people to see what stuff is coming up in what part of the country- everything from track events to informal lunches to group drives....
