Just got this from Jay at primedia... go stock k03!
Dyno runs were done at GIAC's facilities here in socal in August.

doesn't look anything like AMS's Maha Dyno... big difference in drag/braking by the dyno. Huge difference when torque comes into play, so not sure what's causing that.

since every dyno setup will have a different load ramping setup. I noticed this since I have put my car on 2 dynojets, 1 dynopak and on the GIAC dyno plenty of times. I ended up getting the same hp readings on the giac mustang and the Harman Motive dynojet but the tq readings were much different.

the harmon dynojet and GIAC's mustang...

But excellent comparison on runs from two very different dynos for the same car.

GIAC dyno tuned my car at 385 whp @ 22 psi with the Innovative turbo(60-1), then I dyno'd for the 1.8t challenge with the GT35R at 378 whp at 20psi on a hot run and then dyno tested at harmon motive at 385 whp at 20psi on a cold run. Only difference I saw between the 2 shops with the GT35r turbo was the jump in tq which was 278 on the mustang and 328 on the dyno jet.

until then i won't believe the claims lol. and i want the same car to run the non-injector tuning too, street program pump gas, nothing above 93.

difference in when the torque band came in. It's why i wanted to see what GIAC's dyno measured vs AMS. Gives me an idea of the different dyno setups.

If so, how does one get from those disparate torque readings to approximately the same HP numbers?

such similar HP readings.

holding the torque farther based on the load characteristics of the dyno.

i have done it about a hundred times though. have my third set of injectors now. these work though so i dont think i will have to do it anytime soon on my car at least.

There's a lot of gunk down in the injector wells. Got's to flush or blow it out.

I will post a brief follow up of my calculations..
All my runs are done warm and we remove any Hail Mary runs. So numbers are consistent and can be repeated over and over again. I use a Dyno Dynamics AWD load bearing Dynomometer..

Also I think Audi rates the torque at 166 at the crank so my correction for torque may be off.
Using a claimed 166 of torque I think it comes to like 267 and not 274.
Also new GIAC injectors can privide plenty of fuel to run a Hybrid KO4. First launch is for the stock KO3 set-up, then KO4-15 software will follow, after that software will be available for the KO3 and KO4 hybrids. With a few other things in the pipeline. The initial set-up will cost considerably less than the APR 1+ and will be a totally turnkey product.
