I think the west coast uses a different calculation to derive thier value of 1.0 bar to 14.7 psi, which leads to the lengthy arguements of who's running more boost, more power, quicker 1/4 mile times/speeds, etc. And there's excuses in regards to air temp, sea level, uphill 1/4 mile tracks, ........
