If I install 310cc injectors and an adjustable FPR so I can run GIAC's PC-16 chip in my '99.5 A4 on weekends, can I get away with leaving them in place and swap back to a regular K04 chip during the week without having any problems other than less power?
I'm guessing that since the larger injectors and lower fuel pressure are mimicing the performance of stock injectors except they have more headroom at higher rpms, this setup should work okay for normal street use (i.e., good, but not great). I don't mind popping for a few gallons of 100-octane gas on weekends, but 400 miles of commuting each week on $75 tankfuls of gas is a non-starter!
Is my thinking correct or am I overlooking something here?
