i have the pes t28 kit and was wondering if i could swap the turb out for the gt28rs turbo from atp turbo? will this help in performance? what kind if any of gains would i see, will the 1.5 bar program still be o.k.? also how much would i get for the old turbo if i were to sell it. thanks jay

The T28 is not worth much since new they run about $600.

it should bolt on to the manifold, just make your own intake hose w/ some silicone or wutever. If you're lucky, the PES downpipe might bolt right up, otherwise make one, or call up ATP. Sitting and wondering sucks. Just do it~ oh yea, make sure u get more fuel to w/ that! =)
my 2 cents.

mount from the bottom of the manifold on the pes one. but atp has a pretty cheap manifold too so that might save you trouble and then the DP might mate up nice then. just my .02

since that manifold puts the turbo on the side of the manifold not below it. You might be correct about the turbo not fitting on the PES manifold since the compressor housing is much larger.

for boost out of a normal t28. that and the PES t28 is a nismo spec large trim t28 which are relatively difficult to find in the first place as most places who have "T28's" have smalltrim compressors with T25 exhaust sides. (info from terry @ innovative turbos who supplies them for pes)

that said i would just squeeze more power out of the T28.

sell actuators with rods that can be adjusted which is what I installed on my stock eclipse T25 turbo way before I bought my A4.

making note of those issues for the people that do not know. for those who thing buying just any old t28 would be the same as buying a PES one.
