Im running basic mods - chip + turbo back exhaust for around 210 horsepower on a B5 TQ. Im now looking for further 'bang for buck' mods - can't currently afford the GT28RS path. Im aware of the Autospeed articles on spray but don't have a subscription.

Is anyone currently running a water spray on their SMIC? I know that WRX STis come stock with a water spray system for their top mount ICs - so there is a reason that Subaru has gone that road.

I live in a hot dry environment - average air temps in summer are 70 - 85 and can hit 110 so cooling is important.

Comments would be appreciated.

but if you'll be converting to a bigger turbo eventually, I'd wait, save your $$$, and do it all.....the right way......at the same time.

IC mister kit. ON SALE!!

...honestly if you have acess to a machine shop its fairly simply to make one, ive made one for an s40, bought the solenoids etc off ebay and found a c02 tank for a paintball gun and it works fine!

Ok that may be an exxageration, but it's cheaper, and those mister kits use a lot of gas.

Thanks. Ill have to look into the price of refilling those paintball cannisters.

Part of the idea is that I will just shift it over onto the FMIC when I go that route so its supposed to be a long term upgrade.
