If the kit doesn't come with one, we score one from the local dealer. CP 11-12-2004, 05:55 PM Ray Khan 11-13-2004, 08:01 PM I'm trying to make a connection between clutches and issues and looking at the throw out bearing. Wondering if the ones aftermarket clutch companies use is any different than stock. Dave Griswold 11-14-2004, 06:30 AM that may or may not have been the clutch. Occasionally, when taking off from the line in first, it would *barely* bit. Meaning, that I'd try to launch and I'd go almost nowhere. I'd back off, try again and it would be fine. I replace the master cylinder, which didn't fix it and didn't get around to fixing the slave cylinder before I sold the car. Other than that, it was great. That one problem annoyed the piss out of me though. Ray Khan 11-14-2004, 08:10 PM sounds similar to yours actually. Tends to happen when going from reverse to first and especially when the car is on an incline. I'm thinking something is up with that throw out bearing. The clutch holds well so I'm going to wait until I need replacement before going in there to look. Dave Griswold 11-15-2004, 05:27 AM Most of the time it was fine. |
