My girlfriend has a 1988 325i convertible. It has the maroon (reddish brown) interior. The area around the convertible top cover, and the tops of the doors have faded through time and become dirty. I managed to clean the dirt with various combinations of Comet, Lexol, and Windex. But the vinyl beneath is still lighter and grayer in color. What can I use to stain it back to the original color. I've tried cordoban colored shoe paste, but it doesn't stick. Will the BMW dealer have dye in the correct color? I've been fixing the trim on the rest of the car, so it would be nice if this was fixed too...

All I can think of is ask the BMW dealer. Also, please petition Audi to give us the red leather sport seats for the A4 which seem to be available in Europe.
