I need just a small section (less than 12") but I need it bent at a ~37° angle. Everywhere I've looked sells standard 45°, 90°, and U-bends but I can't find a place that is able/willing to do a custom bend for a one-off piece.

...and find a GOOD muffler shop that does cars AND trucks. The good ones will have a bigass hydraulic bender (it's the size of a Yugo...or a Lada...) that can handle 3-4" tubing.
BTW - don't say "pipe". It's tubing. Very different things, different OD even though the size might be listed as the same.

Still looking for one that can handle larger diameter "tubing" :)

thats how i get all my angles, i buy U bends or 90 bends, then i measure the angle i want, such as 20degree, i cut it on band saw or sometimes u can manage on chop saw, then weld a straight piece to get the angle you want... so something to cut and something to weld.. see if anyone has that.

appropriate length) to the end of the angle. Not as ideal as a single mandrel bend but .....

isn't all that big a hassle. They can usually do the work while I wait.
