when should he start to worry? He said he has 93 octane in the tank, with an X-chip, FMIC, CAI, 3" exhaust, and the Race N75 valve (boost is hitting 27psi, and slowly dropping).. The chip btw is programed for 19psi..
My question besides the worrying part, is why timing is being pulled so much? My car with pretty much the same mods (minus the race N75) is not pulling timing past 4 degrees.. Personally, I think its because the little K04 is being pushed outside its efficiency range with boost levels being as high as they are on this car (mine sees about 21psi) and therefore creating too much heat for the system..
What do the experts say?
