17952- Angle sensor 1 for throttle actuator. Signal too large.
17580- Angle sensor 2 for throttle actuator.
Signal too low.
The cars does not idle. I was able to idle by hitting the throttle back and fourth but eventually dies. Already clear the codes and did a TBA but the same thing happens. I know it is related to the throttle body. Has anyone experienced this? Where do I start?
Thanks

That sucks. Do you have any idea what may have caused that? Has it happened to you before? Do you also have a DBW? or that does not make a difference?

I've not lost one but I have read of the odd failure here.
The 2000 (ATW) calls for a 06B 133 062 B "throttle body" and the 99.5 (AEB) for a 058 133 063 Q "throttle vlave control unit"
The Bentley gets pretty confusing with these codes. It tells me to check from brake light switch to accelerator pedal position sensor and throttle body. I really don't want to take to a dealer...Not sure if I should just buy a new TB and try it. Did a search in AW and wasn't that great.

It adapts fine...or that's what it says...It says "run" and "ok". It makes the usual ticking noise...

It just strikes me that a signal too large and too small from the TB angle sensor points to the control unit being bad. Not that I will come back with any valuable insight but I'll take a look at the Bentley's when I get home and see if any bulbs go on for me ...

could just be a bad connection.

I know in the nonDBW, you can watch the TPS voltage while pressing on the throttle.
I'm not sure if the DBW does the same, but it might be worth checking out. At the very least, a voltmeter on the wires, and manually moving the throttle plate might work.
I already played a little with the connector. Nothing happened. I was late to work and could not do much. I'll inspect further tonight. Weird how something just goes wrong without warning. The car ran fine last night. After I parked for the night, I plugged my radar in the cigarette and burned the fuse. Ready to go to work this morning and this throttle thing happened. Coincidence?? Do you know if a bad TBA could have caused this? Meaning not waited long enough and started the engine?

You might want to check to see any of your ECU fuses burned out in the main fuse box.
