edit: i have a b6 a4 w/ h&r coilovers.

i took off my front coilovers this weekend to fix aclunking problem... but i didn't touch the brakes, and now i have a funny sound when i brake either stoped or while moving - more noticible when stoped however.

i noticed it first when i was stoped at a light... when i push on the pedal it makes a squeekign scrunching (dunno how to describe it) noise thats pretty noticible, even my gf mentioned something. both sides do it on the front. however, the rears do not make any noise when stoped.

also the parking brake makes more noise than normal when i pull it while moving slowly.

anything that i could have accidently knocked or hit that would cause this?

thanks!

Make sure all the brake lines, sensor lines are out of the way. It's possible one of them isn't secured, and is rubbing against the rotor.
Also make sure the factory dust shield isn't rubbing against the rotor. You may have slightly bent it during the installation.

and he knocked them into the rotors a few times, i think maybe its the dust shield... i'll check it later today.

thanks again!
