I would like to get recommendations for a good wax and/or polish to use on my new A4.

I would prefer to minimize swirling, so if anyone has used such a product I would be especially interested in that. Also, if there are any peculiarities or special things to keep in mind when waxing an A4, please post that information as well.

This weekend I'll be giving my A4 a thorough wash and wax...Sonax car wash or Mother's Calif. Gold wash, followed by Zymol cleaner wax and then Blitz...P21S wheel cleaner has received many recommendations.

I'll put in my two cents here. I've used Meguiars in the past, and a host of others. I recently used Griot's hand polish and Best of Show wax. The results are great. Really easy to take on and off, and neither the wax nor the polish "stain" the plastic or rubber on the vehicle. For a deep shine, I always recommend using a mild polish before applying wax. You can locate Griots Garage on the web. Their vinyl and rubber protectant is also great.
