MBC and no N249 valve set for 21psi.. It felt pretty damm strong up until the car shut down.. : o Damm that EVO Lancer got lucky.. After I shut it down and restarted it up, she went for me and I limped it off the road.. Cleared the code, dialed back boost, then blew off the DV hose.. I didn't think the DV hose threw the code because Ive blown the hose off a couple of times and never got that code.. :( Agh.. Hopefully I never see it again..

I ended up running the MBC in parallel with the N75 and its running pretty well (not as strong as it was went set for 21psi).. Its set for 19psi and shes not spiking anymore (which Im very VERY happy about).. Partial throttle applications are smoother with the N75 in there... I think Im going to try setting up the old URS4 N75 up with the MBC this way I can run 24psi without and issues from the ECU.. The car threw codes when I went above 20psi with the MBC.. :(

With the mbc in parallel, any N75 should perform the same at WOT.

MBC it still leaks off some pressure and you get more boost. This is why MBC's dont have preset readings for boost levels, more of a "install, test, adjust and test again" product.

The only way around that is to increase the limiter within the chip programming. I also hope you have fixed the Boost sensor limiter since that will just end up closing the throttle plate on a dbw car after you exceed 21psi.

The S4 guys have tired it and had issues with it though.

URS4 MBC, I will be able to run and hold 24psi without any problems.. I actually had the URS4 N75 on the car last year and ran 24psi, but got a little worried it was generating too much heat with the stock ICs.. Im not sure what is different on the URS4 N75 when compared with my stock N75, but with it a TT runs a couple more Psi higher..

without any problems with an N75 still hooked up.. For some reason the car goes into limp mode with just the MBC set for 21psi.. Like Audi225TTQC said we can get away with running higher boosts while having the N75 hooked up and functioning.. Why? I have no idea.. But all I know is that Ive held 24psi on my car without any codes.. As for people holding 28+ Im pretty sure that guy took care of his sensors..

Once I get the FMIC on the car, then the new N75 will also go on there, that will be the true test..

Does the TT225 have a 3 bar map or the standard 2.5 bar map?

or maybe they felt bad for TT owners? :)

some of them have said the issue is more about over running the weak stock fuel pump.
