Luckily BMW's test facility is by my house so I see neat things from time to time. If BMW brings that little beast to america, Audi had better get on the ball and give us the A3, better yet, the S3!!!

I saw that car about 2 months ago. They were doing a photo shoot, right in front of the BMW dealership on 57th st. here in Manhattan. That car was unbelievable. Then, if i remember right, they put the car on display in the Museum Of Modern Art. Too bad i didn't have a camera that day.

Great fun - especially at autocrosses. Arguably the most significant post war car with many firsts including transverse front engine FWD and first mass-produced CV joints. Learned how to rebuild just about every part of a car; it was British after all!
