Anybody know how to remove the shock tower cover (where the sub and cd chnger is)?

in my lifetime of changing shocks and springs, the A4 rear strut was the easiest one I encountered cuz you work from the wheel well and not like other cars, you don't have to bother looking for the strut tower nut under a pile of plastic, insulation and speakers from inside the car.
I am assuming that the Avant rear suspension is similar, where in there are 3 bolts that fasten the strut housing to the body which can be taken off from the outside of the car.
In fact, when I added rear lowering springs, I just used the weight of the car to compress the spring down. Done in 15 minutes.

Thanks. I use to own a honda and you have to remove the plastic covers to access the shock nuts. Which springs did you install? I was considering H&R sport or eibach pro-kit. It is a DIY job?
