...it's the ECU (as far as I can tell).
The rod checked out OK. I hooked up the VAG-COM and here is what I see. Any time the manifold pressure nears zero psi, the wastegate duty cycle goes from 0% to 99.6%. There are no intermediate duty cycle numbers - it's either 0% or 99.6%. In addition, my injector timing will not go above 7.61ms (compared to my old 16.32ms at WOT regardless of rpm or boost).
Is it possible that my ECU $hit the bed? I don't understand this one at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Oh yeah, when I switched from Wett to GIAC, they didn't transfer my stock chip to a GIAC board and the Wett board won't even plug into the GIAC mount (pins are square instead of round). I wish I could plug the stock board in so if anyone is in CT and has a GIAC mounted stock ECU I can try I would be forever greatful - and yes I do have a bunch of beer to pay you back!
