When I went to order my brakepads (Mintex Reds), the shop asked if I had brake sensors. Without having to take the wheel off, how will I know? Do certain models have these sensors? Mine is very early 96...first purchased/sold on October 95.

If you have the sensor on your car, but you do not buy pads with the sensors, you will need to run a loop in the car's sensor, where is connects to the brake pad sensor. Otherwise, your brake-wear indicator will always be on.
