Besides buying a new car, what else can I upgrade. Here are the mods I've done so far to my 99 FWD 1.8T Tip:
-WETT 1.0 Chip
-Supersprint Exhaust
-K&N Filter (not really an upgrade)
-H&R Sport Springs; Bilstein Shocks; 17" Ace Lolas

It depends on what you are planning on doing with the car:

* Coil-overs
* FMIC for better cooling.
* larger turbo
* cold air intake
* Garrett Tip Chip
* Brake upgrade and SS brake lines
* Tires/wheels

Those are just a few items . . . I am sure others will provide you with tons of others.

Adding level 3 brakes was prob the best mod I have done to my car. Braking power is incredible.Our kits are priced right and used stock parts so future maintainence is a snap.

http://www.turbo5.com</a

isnt that what the banners pretty much do up top. Alot of businesses do that here, why dont you say things to them....and im not bashing these companies, but eddie at tirerack gives advice and so do others. its good that they give advice, b/c they usually know a good amount, would you rather have some other person who knows nothing give advice? what it comes down to is that we are all grown ups here and can make decisions for ourselves, so what if hes advertising his product, thats what a good sales person does!!!

as well. So does AWE. (i.e. Stephen/APR or Todd/A.W.E). I don't think there's anything wrong with it.

In fact, I think it's good since the average user can see he/she is getting advice from someone in the business, and knows a thing or two.

Just my 2 cents...

Almost everyone that gives advice the way APR, TireRack and now Turbo5 does are also paying advertisers on AudiWorld!

TireRack is the sponsor of the entire Wheel/Tire Forum. If they were not allowed to do what they have been doing who would you like to answer everyone's questions?

Is this possibly that you don't like Clark and want him to leave? Grow up and accept the fact that the guy started a business with a few fellow Audi owners and is trying to help all of us out with what he knows.

And I usually include my business web site link. I don't even have a banner (yet)!

I find Clark's posts (along with Eddie from Tire Rack, Gary from Ronal, Todd (?) from AWE... and more) to be informative and not too over the top in terms of sales pitch. And it's not like he's disguising who he is.

I agree with LarryTT. Who else is in a position to be an expert on this stuff? The guys who make their livings selling it.

Note that the forum guidelines mention "absolutely no advertising in posts unless you're a current banner advertiser."
