ok 1). (has) anyone (made/done) a turbo oil cooling kit. It would work like an auto tranny oil cooler right?
2). the fan on intercooler idea, push or pull setup, why? sorry mechanically stupid but trying to learn
3). What would it take to push redline back to say like 7k or more? cams, springs, why dont ppl do that, seems like with a larger turbo there is so much more potential than 6200rpm's (methinks more rpm's longer on boost, not as much of course, more speed, and acceleration)

We have an oil cooler kit on our site. It works very well. An approx 40 degree drop in race conditions.

A fan on the IC would work for low speed driving but as speed increases it would not be as effective. Going to a larger front mount IC would be much more effective.

you can rev to 7000 with most aftermarket chips now. With the small turbos that these cars have now there is no point. With a larger turbo the 1.8t will make power up at those revs. I dont feel worried about revving to 7000 on ocasion.
