As some of you may know, I have been running my second ECU with stock programming because of some intermittent problems with my APR equipped ECU.
I called APR last week and described the symptoms (engine turning off / will not start)- they said to send it in, FedEx Overnight, at their expense and they'd have a look at it.
I sent the ECU on Tuesday evening, and spoke to Stephen at APR today to get an ETA on its return date, expecting to receive it next week some time.
Well, it turns out, not only did they repair and send it out yesterday (the day it arrived), but they upgraded my chip to EMCS for free!!! He was surprised I didn't get it today, and assured me it would be here tomorrow.
This is simply fantastic service, especially comsidering the fact that I live in Canada and postage both ways costs almost $100. So chalk this up as another home run for APR; reassuring me yet again that I made the right choice when I bought my chip.
Cheers,
Mark
PS - I got the cold weather revision added to m programming; I'll let you guys know how it works out.
