Sweeet! Car was running great! I dropped in a K&N filter today (had the car with the stock one for about 2 weeks) and it was considerably cooler than it has been. Tonight I was consistently hitting 11.5 lbs of boost, edging into 12 on occassion. Car was runnning like a bat outta hell! I will drop the stock filter back in it to see if that air flow was the reason for increased presurre.

The stock filter was resistive enough, in flow terms, to put 1.5 psi of pressure drop in the system at full flow rate - assuming it's not just a temperature effect.

That's a lot of boost for our engine. No pinging?

Mine been running very well, street & track too, but I think I'll try the air filter upgrade. You done anything to your airbox?

the CAI I have seen don't get good air to them. The nice thing about the stock box is it grabs air right from the outside with that scoop.

I heard the Tip can only take 260hp or somewhere around there..

I did a test today, and it was 65, and only generated 10.5lbs. Cold dense air always helps ;)
