Just installed my intake last week and I should start by giving Kudos to Clark, it's a great piece and well worth the money. Having said that, prior to the installation I read numerous posts that indicated that I would have the familiar "PSSSHT" sound under quick on/off or on/off/on throttle situations (and I do). But I also have such a noise under light but constant acceleration from say 5 - 15 mph. Is this normal?

to hear Bypass valve sounds try this:
2nd or third gear from slow speed, accelerate hard to build boost to max, then put the clutch in to reduce load quickly. then you should hear the "pshhhh" sound of the valve. It is vacuum acctuated by the sudden drop of manifole pressure.

accelerate in 2nd gear to about 5K and just left off the gas quickly, you can do this over and over, and if you do it enough times in a row you can make you car look like it has hydraulics...lol
