I ran into a couple of snags when I did the K04 upgrade on my MY2000 1.8t. First of all I'm having terrible problems with my Software. Second the hardware is slightly different. On the MY2000 cars and up there is an added breather tube that bolts to the intake housing on the turbo. The K04 I have does not have the holes tapped for that pipe. next time I take that turbo out I'm going to have to swap the housing with my old K03 or try tapping the turbo housing myself.

Anyone know how to completely clear the ECU with VAG software?

Sorry.. You will have to drill and tap that hole on the Ko4 housing.

My Ko4 came with that tapped.
