Hi all!!!

Haven't been in here in months! Decided to "unplug" for a while. A lot of people are upset that I haven't continued the tip mods. For some reason i get the notion that everybody is installing these Bypass valves? What is this? I have'nt experienced any problems with the factory set-up except that with a chip sometimes there is a little surge when you cut the acceleration a accelerate again, I kinda like that myself. But what is the benefit of installing this Bypass valves? I would do it just if it amplifies my pssst! sound, but just keep me informed.

Thanks,

Paul Days

The stock Audi/Vw bypass valve tends to leak once boost is raised with a chip. I tested a stock valve. It started lifting at 12 psi. Under fast shifts its not strong enought to clamp down again.

There are many solutions to this problem now. Do your own research and pic one.

Thanks

Clark
