try this:
At a highway speed, when I open my sunroof in tilt mode, I notice a draft coming from the interior door handles of all 4 doors (also above the window controls) which leads me to believe the doors are not sealed properly.
I remember someone said the fix was to add chasis plugs or something. I'm curious to see how many other a4's that have excessive windnoise also experience this problem.
Jason

.....I've noticed windnoise from the sunroof itself unless you have exactly on the "close" mark where it *clicks* in.
Rick
I've noticed a "wind" or draft from interior door handles, window controls, door mounted speakers on MANY cars. Including my newly sold Integra GS-R, one of the loudest road and wind noise cars on the planet.
I really do not think this is a "problem" with the A4 as much as it is a nature of cars since they are not completely sealed environments.
Kirk

...have had drafts in those places when the sunroof was open, including the A4. My 90Q also does this, but doesn't experience any wind noise other than that which blows past what I believe to be the mirrors and the wipers at high speeds. i also think that these are the sources for noise on the A4 also, because I hear it too, but it doesn't seem to be coming from the door seals. I think the car is just so quiet otherwise, that you hear the outside air movement.
Charles
PS: That doesn't mean nobody has excessive noise do to a seal problem, only that most cases are probably not the seal. :-)
