I just had my 99.5 A4 1.8T qms in for its first service, here are my observations with respect to Champion Audi in Pompano Beach, FL.

1. No waiting for weeks to get in, called one day, got in the next day, (may not be so lucky during winter tourist season)

2. No loaners given with regular scheduled maint. whether you purchased the car there or not (I did)

3. They say that they are chip friendly, but you will get the same verbal disclaimer as is written in the warranty book. (I'm still stock)

4. Never heard of C pillar dents, I have a very slight one on the drivers side, it's still there.

5. Did hear of squeaky arm rests though, fixed that.

6. Found a small coolant leak by the turbo, connections were tightened, coolant topped off.

7. I reported an intermittent squeak comming from the rear of the car while taking off from a stop (you can only hear it while standing outside to the rear of the car), they cannot duplicate the condition. I'll try again at 10K.

8. Oil was changed using pennzoil 20-50, no overfill. Will change to synthetic at 10K, dealer charges $20.00 for synth.

9. Rotated tires, kept pressure at 38 psi.

10. Lubed door hinges and locks.

I suppose most would give them a below average rating, I probably would have except for fact that these guys (techs) know the Audi (especially my 85 5KS Avant). In almost 10 years, I never once had to bring my 5KS back in for something that they did not fix correctly the first time, or caused something else to break. They may still be learning about the A4 though.
For what it's worth,
