I have 18000 miles on my A4 Sport tires and they are gone...That is not a good thing. I am looking for a replacent that handles as well as the Sp 8000E's, has higher tread life then them and has better traction in slight snow. I only get about 5 snow days a year and so I don't want an all weather tire but I need one that has better traction then the Sp8000e's. I read that the Michelin Pilot XGT Z4 is good (from their adds and website) is there anyone who has experience with them or have other suggestions for me?

Thanks for the help.

I used to these tires on my Subaru SVX(all wheel drive as well)...
They don't stick as well as summer tires, but I found that they performed well in a variety of conditoins...including several seasons of snow in NJ. I also thought the treadwear was excellent as compared with previous tires....

I have a set of XGT-V4 on my GTI - great tire - especially in rain. Have not driven in any snow
though. Supposed to last 40000 miles as well.
