He said he was aware of it and it only is an issue w/the silver cars for some reason. He mentioned that water(like someone else posted) sometimes gets between those white, protective sheets and the paint and how it sometimes get absorbed into the paint or that it leaves a condensation mark. Again, the few, small marks I have look white/cloudy--kinda like watered down bird white wash! Anyway, he claimed that I can bring it in and they will use a heat gun to get rid of it, kinda implied that it evaporates. The other alternative he mentioned was that the sun would gradually dry it up and the marks would eventually disappear. Hmm...<scratching head>. Does anybody know anything about this "heat gun" and if it is safe? Any other comments? I wish I could get a new set of OEM 16" 5-spokes out of the deal!
