I'm thinking of getting the windows tinted on my A4... I'm trying to get an idea of what brand of tint is good and what color (metallic or not)... my car is volcano black with opal grey interior... also, turns out the law in my state states that you can only tint the rear windows... would this give a very uneven look to the car? Some picturs would be great too! Thanks for any help!

registry entry. I think the tint is 31% - it says in the registry though. There's a pic there - and my A4 is VB too.

Metallic was too shiny - not my taste. Dye'd ones fade. This one has lifetime guarantee. 3 years on my car, no scratches (as it has a scratch repellant layer) and no fade

...Take a look at some SUV's that come with tinted windows on the back windows from the factory. Look funny to you? That's how it'll look on your stunning A4. I have formula 1 35% tint on mine by the way. Supposed to be good stuff. Lifetime warranty. Good luck.

Hey GT,

I'm not allowed to have the fronts tinted either, but I did it anyways. 35% shouldn't be that bad normally. but with the factory tinted glass Audi uses, plus my onyx interior, it looks fairly dark at night, especially if it's raining, ten it gets really reflective. That's the only time I got warned about my front tint.
