Hello everyone, I am planning to drive the A4 Avant 2.8 tip quattro in a country where the roads are not so good, very hilly and with extreme heat and cold temperatures. I would like to modify the shocks maybe boge or Bilstein to increase the ground clearance at leats 10 cm and maybe add the bar that goes below the hood for tougher cornering. Change the tires to high profile rather than low. Lights will change and maybe add a shield for the bottom of the car for protection. I know everyone is lowering the car, but I am doing the opposite. Maybe adda chip for low end torque rather than horsepower or high end. Any suggestions???
Thanks
Joshua

...he says, as he dons his flame-resistant outer wear. 8^) Seriously, I know the A4 is great car, but if where you are going has roads that bad, I would buy something I didn't mind trashing. My $.02.
CraigB
