I understand that the tip was reprogrammed by Audi for MY2000 A4. I'm wondering if it's possible to get a hold of a reprogrammed chip from Audi as an upgrade for MY99.5? Or would I need to direct this question to AOA?

Does anyone have specifics on the changes to the tip programming?
