I just moved to Twin Cities (Mpls/St. Paul) and need to find a new place to have my 98 A4 Avant serviced. I see two dealers in the area, Carousel and Maplewood. I live real close to Maplewood but would consider the other if it is that much better. I have not visited either one yet. Anyone have any comments?

Also, any good place to get a car wash? I don't do it myself (lazy) and I miss the free ones at my old dealer (Rockville PorscheAudi in MD). Prefer a hand-wash but not too $$.
Thanks!

Carousel and MapleWood are owned by the same person, but Carousel seems to have better service. I bought my A4 from Carousel, and friend bought his from MapleWood, seems like service experience at Carousel has been better.

Better yet, try both and see which one you like better. Unfortuantely, since you didn't buy the car from them, you won't get the free loaner or carwash.

I hear Carousel is very good! I take mine down to Rochester at Park Place Motors b/c it's closer to me.

I have been taking mine to Carrousel since it is close to where I live and have had good experiences. I am not sure how chip friendly they are though and have heard that Maplewood may be better with chipped cars.

We have two 98.5 A4's, both from Maplewood. Salesperson (Carlos) was great. I never checked with Carousel as they have same ownership. Have only had limited use of service but have no complaints with either warranty work or scheduled maintenance.

They utilize an excellent body shop, Raymond Auto Body, for body damage. I'm a 20 year customer there and they are the best if you ever need them.

There is a touchless drive thru car wash at the FleetFarm store at highways 36 and 694. Does a great job except for really heavy road film and bugs which require the TLC of washing it yourself by hand. It's also really convenient in the winter time when washing in your driveway isn't always an option.
