<br>Just got back from my Audi dealer for scheduled maintenance only to find that my valve cover is already leaking at 8800 miles. I'm horrified!!! Is there anyone else out there that has suffered the same occurence?? Can I trust that the cover won't leak again in the near future after it has been replaced????<p>Disgusted

As Sean mentioned, several A4 owners (including myself) have experienced this problem with the valve cover gasket, but fortunately, it's a relatively minor problem that can be corrected under warranty.<p>Apparently, one of the OEM suppliers had a bad lot that tends to leak. The replacement gaskets from a different manufacturer are expected to work properly and have done so on my car for the last 5000 miles.<p>HTH,<br>Jim
