View Full Version : Renault has it, Audi needs it (rain driving experience, for once not quattro)

Last week I was in WA. Naturally, it was raining a lot. After more than 6 months of dry here in CA, I was pleased to see that my wipers still worked. Especially the 4 speeds of the interval wipers... Problem is - the rain density changes soooo often, you keep switching the wiper speed about twice a minute. Why not a rain sensor and a speed setting telling the car how much water you are willing to take, and it should do the rest?

Renault has it...

Just a thought.

my wipers slow down when I'm at the light, and speed up after I take off (the intermittant speeds). But I agree, it could be better.

frenchy - not!

shift the 5 speed. :) I read on the BMW board where one person didn't like them. He said they would come on for no reason and the speed wasn't right all the time.

The VW Passat GLX has this feature. I would have thought the A4 would have had it since the two cars share their platforms.
