I recently noticed that I no longer see the call letters displayed for any of the radio stations I listen to. I verified the settings - both RDS and TP are on. Have radio stations (in the LA area) stopped broadcasting RDS information, or is my radio not working properly.
I admit that this is not a critical issue. More of a curiosity than anything else.
Kyle

Someone earlier this week posted that when they took out the radio or something, that there was a green wire that was disconnected from the back. When they plugged it back into the radio, their radio display "came to life" on the trip computer screen. They had never had the display, so didn't realize that they had been missing it. This may have happened to you. Do you still get other info, i.e. CD track, etc... or is it all gone? Have the dealer check this if it is under warranty still, otherwise, you may want to perform some exploratory surgery. As with any surgical procedure, there are risks associated with this. The risks may entail: destruction of radio, inadvertent nerve damage (yours or the radio's), unrepairable scarring to the outer skin (faceplate). With the latest in surgical techniques, these risks can be minimized, however, they still exist and you need to be informed of this...(Whoa, off on a tangent, but if you are not too mechanically inclined, then maybe their is a fellow A4.orger close by who may be willing to help, of course the best option is WARRANTY)
Good luck, and be sure to scrub and maintain the sterile field,
Kirk

1. RDS feature not working any more (radio broken)
2. Antenna having problems (my RDS display is based on signal strength, interference (two stations on same frequency may or may not affect RDS display)) -- ** THIS could be from remote range fix if you've had it done **
In any case, take it to the dealer. Remember that the Delta radios are an older design, and have been known to "flake out."
