Shots of the new Jaguar S-Type are up at www.auto.com. Weird styling - I'll take an A6, please.

Sorry. But I read the descriptions for the other forums on this site and the news didn't seem to fit their defined subject matters either. And since we seem to be discussing everything from BMWs to Saturns on this site lately, seemed like keeping up on what the competition is up to is relevant.
(BTW, considering the flames wars going on lately, there is no anomosity in this response to your post.)

Mercedes, BMW, Lexus in mid-luxury category, they will even farther behind Jaguar in 540/E430/GS400 segment very soon as the S-type launches on the market.
Curious to see how this new Jaguar's reliability helding up in the future.
Tom
97 A4 1.8TQM

But they still drive very well, when they are not in the workshop.

With the Mid 60's Jag MkII S-Type as one of my top 3 most beautiful cars ever built, I'll take the new S-type (with 6 speed) V8 in a heartbeat-- in British Racing Green.
Jaguar is one of the better quality autos since Ford QC has been integrated.
btw- The MkII was one of the first, if not THE first Sport Saloons (sedans fer us Yanks).
My apologies for continuing a non-A4 thread in the A4 forum.
(additional graphics from http://www.leys.com/zarzamora/markii.html)

Jaguar S-type
