Dropped by the dealer today who fixed a small dent they did to the plastic front bumper and while the piece was off I noticed the aluminum front bumper behind was kind of wavy looking from top but straight as new from the front. The aluminum attachement bars were also intact. Additionally there as some glue inside the plastic pumber around the left side headlight washer pump like it was clued in before. Other than the glue the plastic bumper looked just intact with no inside our outside repairs. Previous front bumper collision or normal thing ? Dealer kicked the bumper and told me "look what shxx..." Just because they couldn't fix the dent, and put everything of course to my fault that the bumper was already damaged before. The pumber was perfect from outside before they put a dent on it. Any Advice or pics ?

You can see in this pic (taken from Schwing's fotki) that the bumper looks kinda messy anyway...



As for the plastic cover...if it was perfect looking when you took the car in it should be perfect looking when you take the car out. If the dealer has admitted to putting a hole in it the minimum they should do is repair and repaint but I would push for a new cover.

Remember when you drove in, you didnt have a bumper with a whole in it, that someone repaird.. so dont look for that when you get it out. Make them get you a new one.. the chances in 2/3 years of the bumper showing its old colors are very possible.. :/

Plus dont let them fool you, they have been stealing money from people forever.. Might as well pay back to the consumer!

i didnt know Renntech sell a intake kit of for that car......is it a 230 kompressor or a 280??

and what ECU did you get for that??

I showed the pictures to the dealer and I think I made my point. They fixed the dent in the front, but now at home noticed the part over the real valance has 4 small dents and scrathes around 2 feet area - look like they packed up the car to something. While driving home noticed the car wasn't pulling that hard anymore - lacking power - like "Turbo do not kick on feeling"...what a nightmare.

small blemishes can be sanded out... otherwise a replacement bumper is in order
