I found a 99.5 1.8t Quattro, Manual, Volcano/Onyx vinyl, with convenience package and winter package.
The car has about 250miles on it due to dealer swap. Any opinions as to what I might expect to pay? Would 250 miles give me any room to bargain? If so, how much?
Any help is GREATLY appreciated

250 miles isn't extreme. It probably won't give you any additional bargaining room. I would try to pay about 1000 over invoice. But, maybe you can do better :)

Base - 21180
Quattro - 1650
Conv. Pkg - 880
All-Weather Pkg - 554
= $24,264
That's not including $525 Destination, Taxes, Dealer's Profit, Documentation (or what ever they call it) type fee
As the 2000 are not at the dealer yet, you are buying the current model. What would be a good deal? Well $1200 seems to be a standard deal on a 2000 model ($950 listed below) So I think you'd be lucky to get $500 over invoice. I haven't negotiated on a 99.5 so I don't really know - I just wanted to give you the invoice prices, hopefully others can give you a better view on a 99.5 deal.

Just purchased a 99.5 1.8t Avant last week for 3% over invoice.Seems you should be able to do at least that well.End of the year/2000s will be on the lots any day. They gotta get rid of it.
