Just got back from my honeymoon and all is well...except for the sticky tape that was left on my beautiful pearl paint from those paper flower things that some un-named new relative used to "adorn" my A4. The tape backing that's used on these papery things is unbelievable -- I guess it's necessary to keep the things from flying off as the bride and groom speed away.<p>Anyway, I'm looking for suggestions on removing this sticky goo (with some paper mixed in) without damaging the paint. You might try a little WD-40 on it and reapply a fresh coat of wax after..

Bug and Tar remover might work. I also use Meguiar's QuikDetailer for other types of stains (like bird poop), but I'm not sure how effective it would be for something like that...but I'm pretty sure WD-40 would work excellently.<p>Jason<br>98.5 1.8T pearlescent
