I took delivery of a '99 A4 2.8QMS in early December '98. The car is equipped with the trip computer. Although it provides a lot of information, a compass is NOT included with the package.

What's the deal? My Jeep Grand Cherokee has a compass....<p>So has anyone written up a FAQ on a good compass to buy, and how to install it painlessly (to both the installer and the car)?
