Hello! I just insatlled dealer painted skirts on my red 1.8tq . the dealer told me that they do not paint the lower molding(bootom of the doors) of the doors due to possible craking of the paint on flexible plastic . The car looks odd with a black molding in between the skirts! Any suggestions? Is the flexible paint for parts like these of should I just leave it.

I have the A!AvantGarde System S body kit on my car...
I have the same problem with the rubber strip below the door...
Problem with them is that if you remove them you'll have brackets exposed, and if you remove them you'll have holes, which you can put bondo or something similar in. The problem with that is that bondo tends to shrivel over a long time, and you'll have to do it again, OR you can weld the holes shut, which will run you bookoo bucks.
The other option is to have it painted...but it'll start cracking and flaking in about a year...and it's about 200 a pop for each time...
Hope this helps!
Jason G
98.5 A!AvantGarde A4 2.8

You have to love a country so insulated that the ethnic cleansing in Albania is outweighed in terms of sociological importance by the huge impact of terms like "riceboy", "rice-burner", and "rice-rocket" on our society.
Cameron
