I have been shopping around the Dallas area for either a 323i or 99.5 A4 2.8, and the Bimmer dealers will discount exactly<br>$0.00 dollars off the MSRP, and the Audi dealers are saying "maybe $700 off MSRP". They both seem to imply that it's a<br>real good deal. Is this the norm or is it just because there are so many overpayed yuppies around here who will pay anything<br>to be seen in a "status German car" ? If so, what's involved in buying out-of-state RE:registration, etc. ??

John Kimberly will give good deals. I sneaked in at just over $1700 off a 98.5 A4 in December 97. I you can get $1500 off easy on a 98 that's been on the lot. Mike I don't think you are in agreement with Chris K, but I'm in agreement with you. I have the H&R Sport Springs on a 96 with about 45,000 on the springs and 60,000 on the shocks. They seem OK to me, but I'm doing no more than hard street driving.<p>Bill Shaffer
